VS CodiumĪlthough VSCode is free, some people worry since it’s built and maintained by Microsoft. I personally use the snap packages on Ubuntu, and it works flawlessly and stays up-to-date with the latest releases. All these methods are fine, and probably even better than downloading VSCode manually. If you’re on Ubuntu, you might want to use snap instead.
